Hi, my name is MacKenzie and I have been working at YES for about 4 years. I graduated with my BA in Children Studies and wanted to continue my passion for working with youth within the community. I found YES while job searching for the summer and little did I know the experience I would gain from working here. At YES we strive to make a difference in the lives of children with developmental and intellectual disabilities. I have watched our clients meet goals, extend their time at school, make friends, and move on into adulthood. While working on Activities of Daily Living skills, staff here at YES can also have a fun work environment while going on various outings with clients to immerse themselves in the community. This line of work is tough nonetheless but rewarding to see your clients succeed!
